A Book everyone should read!

The City of Ember

By: Jeanne DuPrau
This is a book everyone should read. It is kind of like a puzzle. There is a group of kids who are getting thier first jobs as their city, Ember is being torn to pieces. Doon, one of the main charactors, gets a job working with the city's ancient generator that is falling apart. Linda gets a job as a messanger, delivering frantic messages from person to person as the electricity keeps going out. Together, these two discover the mayor is stealing from the people of Ember. Linda goes home that day to find her sister eating an important piece of paper. She teams up with Doon who helps her decode what is left of this paper, and to find a way to save their suffering town.
A lot of people will go to see the movie version of a book, but the truth is the movie isn't that great. The puzzle makes much more sense on paper, so it is important to read the book to get the whole point of the story.

Animals are very difficult subjects to take pictures of. They never seem to sit still, and always blur the picture. Well, sometimes that can be fixed. Make sure to know the settings on your camera so that you can change them quickly without losing any time. That can make the difference between a picture captured and a picture lost. My favorite setting is actually the sports setting. It helps get the subject while it is in motion, causing you a lot less hassle of having to bribe them to sit still.
